General configurations
Dashlets can be customized and configured individually. The configuration view can contain different tabs. The general settings are described here, the the individual settings can be found in the respective dashlet description.

The configuration properties may vary depending on the selected dashlet type.
The following configurations are available in the General settings section:
Comment | Add a comment. The comment is not displayed on the client side and is only visible to administrators in the configuration. |
Dashlet categories | Select the dashlet categories. This selection determines which category the dashlet should be assigned to in the dashlet catalog. The selection is made via a selection list. Multiple selection is possible. |
Prefered caption Language/Translation | Prefered caption for the dashlet in different languages Select the Language using the dropdown menu. Add the corresponding Translation of the component. Confirm your entry with You can delete your translation by clicking on |
Description Language/Translation | Select the Language using the dropdown menu. Add the corresponding Translation of the component. Confirm your entry with You can delete your translation by clicking on The description is displayed below the title in the dashlet overview list. |
