Opening the USU Shop for creating a service request

Unlike the USM Service Shop, the USU Shop can be accessed only via an alternative Welcome Page with customized Info Tiles. See also Accessing the Service Shop.

Note

This access path applies to the Standard Content Package only. If users use the USU Shop, they will not use the Standard Welcome Page but instead replace the USM Service Shop KPI tile with the USU Shop KPI tile.

Then you can call the USU Shop from the Self-Service Portal through the following places:

  1. The Open Shop Requests Info tile

  2. The Overview of my open USU Shop requests dialog

To call the USU Shop from the Self-Service Portal:

  1. Go to the Open Shop Requests Info tile.

    • Click Request service (USU Shop) to call the USU Shop immediately.

    • Alternatively, click Open List to open an Overview of my open USU Shop requests dialog where you can check your requests.

  2. In the Overview of my open USU Shop requests dialog:

    • Review your open Shop requests.

    • Click Request service (USU Shop) to call the USU Shop.

  3. Select a request and click it.

    The Request detail view opens.

    • Review details such as status, request dates, and other additional information.

    • If available, click on Show details to open the request detail view in USU Shop in a new tab.
